PAINT

He performs preparation and priming work, the application of various types of paints, the installation of wallpaper and other wall coverings. He may have to carry out occasional repair work, plastering before the application of paints, stains, facade waterproofing products, etc.

Outside buildings, he sets up scaffolding, stripping, cleaning and applying the various products by spraying, roller or float.

Inside buildings, on a new construction site, he prepares, primer, plasters, applies paints and finishes and installs wall coverings.

On a renovation site, he washes, strips, puts down wallpapers, installs wall coverings. He is responsible for the renovation work.

The house painter can be in direct contact with customers. Depending on the size of the business, he or she will have to perform some or all of these tasks.
